TREATING INFLAMMATORY CONDITIONS FOR OVER 4,000 YEARS

Native to Southeast Asia, Turmeric is one of the most powerful and well-known medicinal plants.
Its use dates back over 4,000 years. Turmeric has long been widely used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine to treat inflammatory conditions such as rheumatism, osteoarthritis, arthritis, tendonitis..
If turmeric is all the rage among naturopaths, in specialized stores and on the Internet today, it's probably because researchers now consider it to be far more effective than most synthetic molecules on the market, with fewer side effects.
It's everywhere, and even some doctors recommend it to their patients!
Those in the know know that this plant's success is due to curcumin, an active substance with more than 600 health benefits, but also to the fact that it must be used in conjunction with piperine, contained in pepper, so as not to be rapidly eliminated by the body.
However, few people realize that curcumin represents only 3% of turmeric root, and that the remaining 97% plays an equally important role.
In fact, turmeric is packed with active substances that are very different from one another. They have complementary properties, modes of action and health benefits.
Turmeric's power therefore comes not just from curcumin, but from a whole range of active substances that act synergistically.
Foremost among these are a group of molecules known as "curcuminoids", including the famous curcumin, as well as "turmerosaccharides" (very recent results have shown them to be even more active on your joints than curcumin itself!) and many others..
✅ TURMERIC AND THE "TOTUM" EFFECT TO RELIEVE JOINT PAIN*
While some researchers have shown that turmeric root extract, i.e. a concentrate of curcumins, has extremely beneficial effects on joint health, others have shown that concentrating the plant's active ingredients in "extracts" has its limits, as the plant matrix (all the natural constituents of the plant powder) plays a primordial role in the efficacy of curcuminoids.
This is why the PRONATUR laboratory has been working for many years on the "TOTUM" effect, mixing powder and extract in the same product to defy the laws of nature and prove that 1=1 > 2!
POWDER (100% plant) + EXTRACT (active molecule) = TOTUM EFFECT
✅ RECOMMENDATIONS :
Just because an active ingredient comes from nature doesn't necessarily mean it's harmless.
Some plants can have harmful effects on health.
In the case of turmeric, however, there is no dangerous overdose, even in high doses, so it is not toxic. However, although there are no definitive studies on the subject, precautions should be taken in the following cases:
Turmeric may interact with certain medications. It could increase the effect of anticoagulants or anti-diabetic treatments.
Turmeric should be used with caution in cases of gall-bladder disorders. Although it helps regulate bile production, in the event of bile duct obstruction (stones, for example), turmeric intake could aggravate the problem.
As a precaution, pregnant and breast-feeding women are often advised not to take too much turmeric.
ℹ️ Good to know: turmeric is a good alternative to harpagophytum, which can cause gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, stomach pains or mild diarrhoea.
