As soon as the reconfinement was announced, the Intercommunal Tourist Office listed on its website local producers, restaurateurs and other merchants who offer take-away sales or home deliveries.

On November 10, the communauté de commun took a further step forward with the launch of the achetezalpilles.fr website, which now enables shopkeepers to present their products and sell them directly online.

To support local businesses in the face of competition from online sales giants, the Communauté de communes Vallée des Baux - Alpilles has been urgently developing the achetezalpilles.fr website over the past few weeks, an online purchasing platform for all retail businesses in the area.

Thanks to this free tool, professionals can put their catalogs online themselves, trained by the 11 CCVBA agents mobilized on this operation; a space is then provided to manage the transaction with the customer, who then collects the order from the store or, of course, has it shipped. It is also possible to book a service (care, activity...).

The CCVBA has taken charge of the development of this digital service and made it known to all the professionals concerned (around 1,800 to date), with the support of the region's retail associations and two other tourist offices.

The service is already available, and will continue to develop as merchants get to grips with it.
